Ekincik Village boat trip
This has always been a very popular day trip. We meet just before 10am to be welcomed on board by our delightful crew. As we cruise down the river, past the amazing Rock Tombs and Kaunos ruins and into the Mediterranean, you can get to know one another over complimentary nibbles, hot drinks and juice for the children.
After meandering through the delta and reeds (watch out for turtles), our first stop is Ekincik Cave. Carved out by the sea over thousands of years, this sheltered cave and cove is popular with swimmers, snorkellers and divers alike for its crystal clear turquoise and azure water and its stunning rock formations. You can opt for an active stop, swimming, snorkelling or even paddle boarding, or just choose to relax or sunbathe on board and enjoy the serene view, drink in hand. Your choice……
When we are all ready, we shall sail a short distance across calm Mediterranean waters to Ekincik Village, just around the headland, for our second swim and chill break. The water is more shallow here, if smaller children or non swimmers also want to join in the fun.
Once we have all exhausted the delights of this pretty anchor point, we shall head over to Karaçay Bay. While the team and I prepare your BBQ lunch, you can once again enjoy the warm waters of the Med or even swim over to the unspoilt beach. Too much like hard work? Then just chill in the sun (or shade) on our boat, chat with new friends and let the smell of the BBQ tantalise your tastebuds.
Lunch will be a tremendous feast - a BBQ of different meats and fish and a huge range of organic home made mezze and salads (thanks to my mum - yes, really), fresh each day. There is a superb selection for vegetarian and vegan and if you have any special dietary needs, just let us know when you book. A wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks is available.
Whilst you digest this smorgasbord, we’ll head over to another beautiful swim stop, Dikili Taş. Swim, soak up the sun (or maybe sleep lol) before we head back to the world famous Iztuzu Brach, pristine and unspoiled.
Homemade baklava and fresh fruit will be on offer before we finally pull up anchor and sail back to Dalyan for about 5pm.Your happiness is our happiness
